Host Family application
As with all applications, we can find them tedious. Our on-line application process is designed to be simple and detailed. At Leir we match students with families and families with students, this is a vital part of creating the best mutual experience for everybody, but only takes about ten minutes, it can be the first step in a very fruitful time for the whole family.
Garda Vetting Application Form
Garda vetting is something we have all become aware of, especially if you're involved in coaching or activities with children. The process is very simple, just download the application, complete it in full and we'll collect and process it to An Garda Siochána. This is a compulsory condition of hosting a Leir student.
Spanish & German in Kildare
Through our LEIR LANGUAGE ACADEMY in Newbridge we also offer a range of Spanish classes and programs such as our Spanish for Juniors, Leaving & Junior Cert Spanish and German Exam preparation as well our 'Fun Thru Spanish Camps'
- Spanish for Juniors (kids): Beginner level from 18:00 - 19:00 (Mondays)
- Spanish for Juniors (Kids): Intermediate level from 19:00 - 20:00 (Mondays)
- German Exam preparation: Junior Cert German 19:00 - 20:00 (Wednesdays)
- German Exam preparation: Leaving Cert German 20:00 - 21:00 (Wednesdays)

'Fun thru Spanish Camps' are a fresh and new Leir Education concept combining the fun of learning Spanish through great activities & games from native experienced leaders. Suitable for both boys and girls from 6 to 9 & 10 to 12.

Who are we?
Leir is a Kildare based educational organisation, established in 2013. Family run and managed by husband and wife Peter & Rosa. We provide various different types of and language programmes to foreign students primarily in County Kildare. The objective of our programs and courses is to help our students improve and develop a better command of the English language, a better knowledge of our country, culture and its people.
Leir Education aims to provide our foreign guests with the highest standard of Irish hospitality, cultural and educational experience. “We value our concept as one that believes that learning can and should be fun, education has many different forms and our host families, teachers, staff and centre providers as partners all play a vital part in the process, and of a level excellence we strive to achieve as we manage our business to the highest international standards”
